Flying over a Kansas wheat field on a hot summer day can make you feel pretty small. Up close, these combines are enormous. But when you see the size of the wheat fields they’re cutting, you start to understand why farmers sometimes spend 20 hours a day for days and weeks at a time to get their crops in. These images were captured on the Alan Crane farm near Larned, KS last summer. Watch for a short film later this year called ‘Combined’.
